Repairs on State Route 89 in Prescott, Arizona, have been completed following an unexpected effluent line leak that necessitated the closure of the road. The affected section between the Phippen Roundabout and the Willow Lake Road Roundabout was closed on December 15 for repairs. The roadway has now been repaved and reopened to traffic.
Drivers are advised to exercise caution as reflective tabs have been installed, but striping will not be completed for a few more days.
Deputy Public Works Director Janet Ramsay expressed gratitude, stating, “Thank you to all of the drivers for their patience during this past week. Thanks also to our contractor Fann Contracting for getting this major repair completed during this very busy time.”
