Rep. Eli Crane (R-AZ) will be joined by Yavapai County Sheriff David Rhodes for President Trump's joint address to Congress. Sheriff Rhodes has a distinguished career, having graduated from the FBI National Academy and serving in leadership roles within the Yavapai County Sheriff's Office, including as Commander of both the Law Enforcement Division and the Detention Division. He also led the Northern Arizona Regional Training Academy.
Sheriff Rhodes has dedicated 31 years to the Yavapai County Sheriff's Office and is currently in his second term as sheriff.
Rep. Crane expressed his respect for Sheriff Rhodes's service: “I’m honored to host Sheriff Rhodes for this year’s State of the Union address. I greatly appreciate his commitment to public service and years of dedication to Yavapai County,” said Rep. Crane.
Rep. Crane also commented on their shared priorities: “We now have a dedicated ally in the White House focused on securing the border, solving the fentanyl crisis, and returning to law and order. I look forward to hearing from President Trump and continuing my work with Sheriff Rhodes to put Arizonans first.”
