At the Yavapai County Board of Supervisors meeting on Wednesday 7/1/2022 The board voted to approve a proclamation declaring June as, Post-Traumatic Stress Disorder Awareness Month, in Yavapai County.
Post-Traumatic Stress Disorder (PTSD) Awareness Month is intended to raise public awareness about issues related to PTSD, reduce the stigma associated with PTSD, and help ensure that those suffering from the invisible wounds of war receive proper treatment.
