Cottonwood Public Library Receives Donations to Purchase AWE Early Literacy Tablets for Children

Donation1

City of Cottonwood issued the following announcement on Feb. 4.

The Cottonwood Public Library Youth Services Department thanks the Christ Lutheran Church and Bookmarks - Friends of the Cottonwood Public Library, for their generous donations to help improve the literacy of young children at the Cottonwood Public Library.

The Cottonwood Public Library used the funding to purchase two new AWE literacy tablets. These tablets contain games, activities, and books on a variety of topics such as science, technology, reading, engineering, art & music, and mathematics. The tablets are intended for from ages 2-6, but they also contain programming for children in elementary school.

We invite families in our community to stop by the Youth Services Department and try out the interactive games and activities on the new tablets during their next visit to the Cottonwood Public Library.
