Rep. Eli Crane voices support for Trump, skepticism about Congress on social media

Rep. Eli Crane, presently serving in the U.S. Congress representing Arizona's 2nd district, shared his views on recent political matters through a series of tweets. Having succeeded Tom O'Halleran in 2023, Crane uses his social media presence to voice opinions on national issues.

On April 22, 2025, Rep. Crane raised the question "Why is the Left so insistent on keeping illegal aliens in our nation?" Further supporting former President Trump, he noted that "President Trump is spot on."

In a subsequent tweet on the same day, he simply posted "" without further context, at 00:31:54 UTC.

Later that day, at 12:16:59 UTC, Crane shared a sentiment regarding Congress's ability to enact change, stating "Not a chance." He added, "But Congress is generally too weak to do anything about it."

Eli Crane was born in 1980 in Tucson, Arizona, and is now based in Oro Valley.
