She stated, "Happy to be a co-sponsor for SB1308, and as Chair of the HHS Committee, I made sure this bill was placed on the agenda. Prescott was once the epicenter of sober living home fraud. I personally saw the abuse of the vulnerable victims and their families. This bill will work toward". The statement underscores her commitment to addressing abuse in sober living homes, particularly given Prescott's history with fraud in this sector.

Additionally, Dr. Bliss announced legislative progress on her bill regarding the tracking of sexual assault kits. The update came with the message, "Passed out of Conference Committee today 5 to 1 – my bill HB2581 (tracking system; sexual assault kits). It should not matter where a rape occurs; all victims and survivors deserve support and justice!"
