Wireless Emergency Alerts (WEAs) are short emergency messages from authorized public alerting authorities that can be broadcast from cell towers to any WEA-enabled mobile device in a locally targeted area.
To ensure your WE alerts are turned on for your cell phone, whether that be an iPhone or Android, please follow the steps below. If you need additional assistance, contact your local emergency services department or your cell phone provider.
