Northcentral University issued the following announcement on July 23.
One reason many of our students go back to school is to change their career. Our alum from the JFK School of Law, Alison K., moved from retail into law with her degree. Check out how she made the transition work:
“I was worried about being able to be a student again. I eased back into law school by starting in the spring. We had four classes but only one substantive law class. That was a huge help for me to ‘learn’ how to read hundreds of pages, take meaningful notes, and remember ‘how’ I learn best. I also formed a study group, really by accident. But I was so thankful I had two people who were going through the same thing as me, who could encourage me when I felt inadequate.”
Way to go, Alison, for being brave and taking that leap! #NCUfam, tell us about a leap you are taking right now.
