Eli Crane, a U.S. Congressman representing Arizona’s 2nd district, took to social media to share recent activities and perspectives. Serving since 2023, Crane succeeded Tom O'Halleran and has an ongoing presence both in political discourse and online platforms. Below are highlights from his recent communications.
On April 2, 2025, Crane tweeted about attending a ceremony at the White House with colleagues where Dan Bishop was sworn in as the Deputy Director of the Office of Management and Budget. He remarked on the leadership, stating, "Had a chance to go to the White House today with some of my colleagues to see Dan Bishop get sworn in as the Deputy Director of OMB. He and Russ Vought are doing great things for America. President Trump has assembled a very strong team."
Later that day, Crane shared an update about meeting Arizona Snowbowl leadership, describing it as one of the oldest continually operating ski areas in the country. He posted, "Caught up with the leadership of Arizona Snowbowl today. For those that don’t know, it’s one of the oldest continually operating ski areas in the country. #AZ02"
Crane also addressed cybersecurity on the same day, highlighting concerns over malware attacks by international actors on American infrastructure. He criticized the political climate, noting, "The CCP, North Korea, and others successfully dropped malware in our infrastructure. Instead of working together to address these pressing vulnerabilities, Democrats politicized the moment and didn't bother to stay for the conversation. Check out my Q&A in @GOPoversight."
