SEDONA, Ariz. – The city of Sedona is set to host the free 4th of July celebration, Sedona Summer Splash, on Thursday, July 4, 2024. The event will take place from noon to 4 p.m. at the Sedona Community Pool, located at 570 Posse Grounds Rd.
The celebration will feature swimming activities within the pool area. Additionally, outside the pool area, attendees can enjoy music by DJ Frsh and purchase food and treats from vendors Old Crow and Kona Ice. Other attractions include a wet zone, games, a free hourly raffle with prizes, a dunk tank, and more.
The event is made possible through partnerships with Arizona Water Company, Tiffany Construction, APS, and the Sedona Fire District.
Recreational swimming will be limited to 300 people at one time; however, festivities outside the pool gate will not have attendance restrictions. Swim attire is required for pool use, and water shoes or other secure foot coverings are recommended for the wet zone. Only ADA service dogs are permitted at this event.
