In the 2022-23 school year, 29% of Kirkland Elementary District students passed their AASA Language Arts test, according to the Arizona Department of Education.

The 51 students who took the AASA were assessed at four proficiency levels in each subject. Those at proficiency level one and two failed the test, while students who reached the third and fourth proficiency level passed the test.

Kirkland Elementary District covers only one school within Yavapai County and has a main office in Kirkland.

Math scores fell the most from 2019 to 2022, while language arts scores decreased to a lesser extent from 2019 to 2022, according to the Nation's Report Card.

In 2022, average scores from Arizona students were found to be inline with the national average scores for math and reading, according to the Nation's Report Card.
