Enrollment at Congress Elementary District schools decreased by 6.4% compared to previous school year

There were 102 students enrolled in Congress Elementary District schools in the 2022-23 school year, 6.4% less than the 109 in the previous year, according to the Arizona Department of Education.

Out of the total students welcomed in the 2022-23 school year, 51% of them were girls, and 49% were boys.

Data also showed that most of the students were white, representing 52% of the Congress Elementary District total enrollment.

Congress Elementary District roughly covers schools within Yavapai County and has a main office in Congress.

WalletHub claimed Arizona’s school system ranked among the worst across U.S. for class size, performance, funding, safety, and instructors’ credentials.

A 2023 study from Scholaroo.com ranked Arizona last out of all U.S. states in terms of educational success, giving the state poor marks for school quality, student success, and teacher-to-student ratio.
