The Community Health Center of Yavapai has added a new practitioner to our dedicated team of medical professionals to meet our goal of providing compassionate and quality care to all residents of Yavapai County. Chris Novack, FNP-C, brings his own unique experience and story to add to our diverse team of practitioners.
Chris Novak, FNP-C, has 22 years of experience as a nurse and six years as a nurse practitioner. He graduated from nursing school at Yavapai College and received his Bachelor's and Master's degrees from Grand Canyon University. After working in Emergency Care, Chris noticed that many patients were not receiving consistent care from a primary care doctor, which would have prevented unfortunate and costly health outcomes for the individuals and their families. Chris saw the value of helping patients better manage their health through consistent care and decided to study Primary Care.
He enjoys practicing medicine because there is always something new to learn, and he loves to see his patients benefitting from his care and appropriately managing their health conditions. Chris says he is "Proud of the people I have helped" and wants patients to know they should not feel judged because he does not judge others, and his only concern is to help them better manage their health.
