At the Yavapai county Board of Supervisors meeting on 6/1/2022, Supervisor Craig Brown read the proclamation declaring National Flag Day on June 14, 2022, and the week beginning June 12-18, 2022, as National Flag Week, in commemoration of the adoption of the Stars and Stripes as the official flag of the United States by the Continental Congress on June 14, 1777. Tena Bourdon from the Daughters of the Revolution was on hand to receive the proclamation.
