Granada Elementary School-West Campus: 28 percent of students far below academic standards on AIMS test during 2018-2019 school year

28 percent of Granada Elementary School-West Campus students scored far below academic standards on Arizona’s Instrument to Measure Standards - Science (AIMS) test during the 2018-2019 school year, according to the Arizona Department of Education.

34 percent of students at the school are meeting or exceeding academic standards.

The AIMS test is a standards-based test used to measure a student's proficiency in science based on the state’s academic standards. The AIMS test is administered three times with students taking the test in the fourth grade, eighth grade, and one more time in high school.
