There were 27 African American students enrolled in Humboldt Unified District schools in the 2022-23 school year, 12.9% less than the previous year, according to the Arizona Department of Education.

Data showed that Humboldt Unified District welcomed 5,486 students during the 2022-23 school year. Among them, African American students comprised 0.5% of the student body to be the second least represented ethnicity in the district.
