2023 Veterans Day Parade and Street Closure Information

The City of Prescott, in partnership with the Northern Arizona Va Health Care System and Arizona Public Service (APS) invite you to join us at the 2023 Veterans Day Parade on Saturday, November 11, 2023. There will be an opening ceremony beginning at 10:30am, with the parade beginning at 11:00am.

The parade staging will be closed beginning at 7:00am to approximately 1:00pm.

The following streets will be closed for the staging area:

  • Willis St from Montezuma St to Mt. Vernon St
  • Cortez St from Sheldon St to Gurley St
  • Marina St from Sheldon St to Gurley St
  • Alarcon St from Sheldon St to Gurley St
  • Pleasant St from Sheldon St to Gurley St
The parade will begin at the corner of Willis St and Cortez St. Closure of the parade route will be 9:00am to approximately 1:00pmThe parade route is as follows:

  • South on Cortez St to Goodwin St
  • West on Goodwin St to Montezuma St
  • South on Montezuma St to Sheldon St
Subsequent road closures for the parade will be as follows:

  • Gurley St from Granite St to Marina St
  • Goodwin St from Granite St to Marina St
  • Willis St from Granite St to Montezuma St
The following will be closed for special permit or handicap parking only:

  • Union St from Cortez St to Marina St
