The Daily Signal has released a new documentary that highlights the effort by twenty lawmakers to strip power away from the DC Swamp during the battle for the House Speakership.
After fifteen rounds of voting over a period of four days, the twenty members who took a stand against the establishment succeeded in enacting major changes to the People’s House and how it functions. Watch the documentary below.
“This establishment, this Swamp, is designed to protect itself,” said Rep. Crane. “If you walk out of my office and look at the sign on the door, it says ‘Representative.’ My job is to represent what [my constituents] want.”
Alongside Rep. Crane, the documentary features Reps. Chip Roy of Texas, Matt Gaetz of Florida, Andy Biggs of Arizona, Anna Paulina Luna of Florida, Dan Bishop of North Carolina, and Scott Perry of Pennsylvania.
