Methamphetamine sales operation apprehended in Show Low

Holbrook, AZ: On February 8, 2023, Show Low Police Officers responded to a suspicious activity call for service at the Best Western in Show Low. Their investigation revealed possible drug sales taking place from a hotel room. Show Low Police and Detectives from the Major Crimes Apprehension Team (MCAT) furthered this investigation which resulted in a traffic stop that led to the arrest of three individuals and the seizure of illegal drugs.

A search warrant was served at the individual’s hotel room that resulted in the seizure of additional illegal drugs and evidence of drug sales. Amy Gonzalez (39) of Lakeside, Kirby Troglia (37), and David Brooks (38) both of Show Low, were arrested and booked into Navajo County Jail for numerous drug charges. A total of 95 grams of Methamphetamine and 100 Fentanyl pills were seized from this investigation in Show Low. The estimated street value of these illegal drugs is over $10,000.00.

This is another example of teamwork between agencies and the MCAT. We are grateful for the hard work that the officers, deputies, and detectives do daily to protect our communities and keep them safe.
