GEARING UP FOR TAX SEASON: YAVAPAI COUNTY SHERIFF'S OFFICE TEAMS UP WITH IRS TO PROTECT COMMUNITY FROM SCAMS AND FRAUDS
The Yavapai County Sheriff's Office with guests Special Agent Brian Watson and Kate Myers met to discuss current IRS related scams and frauds and provide advice on how to stay safe.
YCSO is committed to keeping the community safe from scammers. We want to remind everyone that if something "seems too good to be true, it most likely is". YCSO encourages everyone to do their due diligence when it comes to offers that sound too good to be true, as these can often be fraudulent.
