City of Cottonwood issued the following announcement on Oct. 28.
As work continues on the Mingus Avenue reconstruction project, the contractor is preparing to pave the north lane of traffic. Paving is scheduled to occur on Thursday, November 4.
Effective at 7:00 a.m. on Monday, November 8, the contractor will open the newly paved north half of the roadway between 12th Street and Main Street and close the south half of the road for reconstruction. Similarly, to how it is now, we will facilitate 2-way traffic on the reconstructed roadway. We ask that all motorists and pedestrians follow all posted signs.
