Apache County Library District Office issued the following announcement on July 13.

We'd like you to meet Jeri Drain, Librarian III in the Apache County Library District Office. Jeri started part-time with the Library District in 2003, organizing & typing lists of backlogged books for cataloging and book labels.  She was moved to full-time employment in 2004, charged with processing books, DVDs and audio books for the libraries, along with being the administrative assistant, and trained as a cataloger.

In June of 2019, Jeri was advanced to the position of Librarian III & has taken on supervisory duties. She also catalogs all fiction books, all media and is in charge of purchasing supplies for the district & inventory.  When you check out a novel, audio book or DVD, you can thank Jeri for preparing that for you.  When asked what parts of her job she most enjoys, Jeri replied, "I enjoy cataloging & working with my coworkers."

Jeri was born in California and moved to Kingman, AZ when she was 5.  She met her husband, Keith, at NAU. After their marriage, they spent 20 years as an Air Force family, moving to St. Johns in 2002, after his retirement from the service.  They have 3 children.

In her spare time, Jeri loves scrapbooking & working on genealogy with her sister.  She loves reading murder mysteries and romance books.
