“Psalms: Discovering Authentic Worship” by Sue Edwards
Tuesdays, January 14 through April 14, 9:30–11:30am (9:10am for fellowship)
When you think about your emotions, do you consider them a friend or foe? Your emotions have tremendous impact on what you think, how you act and how you talk to God. The Psalms speak when we are full of joy, but also when unexpected circumstances block the sunshine. The Psalms give us permission to express and process our emotions. They are unique in Scripture. In the other books God speaks to man, but in the Psalms we mostly have man speaking to God. The Psalms are a model of speaking acceptably to God under every condition and in every position of life. Join us as for this study as we learn how selected psalms teach relevant lessons about authentic worship.
