Prescott receives over $258,000 from state for 2019 snow event

The City of Prescott has received a bump to its funds after being granted $258,059.21 from the Arizona Department of Emergency and Military Affairs (AZDEMA) as a reimbursement for expenses related to last year’s extraordinary snow event.

The City of Prescott has taken a variety of measures in response to the COVID-19 crisis, including closing city hall to the public except for appointments, closing public restrooms, and loosening restrictions on signs for local businesses.
