Yavapai County Schools: Bradshaw Mountain High School welcomed most students in 2024-25 school year

Bradshaw Mountain High School had the highest enrollment among Yavapai County schools, welcoming 1,613 students during the 2024-25 academic year, according to the Arizona Department of Education.

Of all the students welcomed in the 2024-25 school year, 50.4% were girls, and 49.6% were boys.

Data also showed that most of the students were white, accounting for 53.6% of Bradshaw Mountain High School’s total enrollment.

Among the 76 schools in Yavapai County, Prescott High School ranked second in enrollment numbers with 1,495 students, while Mingus Union High School welcomed 1,160 students and ranked third in the 2024-25 school year.

Bradshaw Mountain High School is part of Humboldt Unified District, which roughly covers schools within Yavapai County and has a main office in Prescott Valley.

In the previous school year, Bradshaw Mountain High School also had the highest number of students among Yavapai County schools.

Arizona ranks dead last in educational success among U.S. states, according to World Population Review, which graded states based on K–12 performance, funding, higher education, and safety.

Arizona’s K-12 enrollment is shifting amid a declining school-aged population, projected to drop by 40,000 by 2028, according to the Common Sense Institute.
