On Tuesday, March 3, at 2 p.m., the William Jewell Cardinals—featuring former Prescott High School standout Peyton Little—were defeated 6-2 by the Northwest Missouri State Bearcats in an NCAA Division II baseball matchup.

The matchup was held at Bearcat Baseball Field. This marked their first meeting with the Bearcats this season.

Little pitched one inning, allowing two earned runs.

The Cardinals are set to play again on Friday, March 6, at 5 p.m. at Talley Stadium against the Minot State Beavers.
