Rep. Eli Crane, currently serving in the U.S. Congress representing Arizona’s 2nd district since 2023, has expressed strong opinions regarding judicial actions perceived as partisan against former President Donald Trump. Through a series of tweets on March 20, 2025, Crane articulated his stance on what he describes as judicial overreach and emphasized Congress's authority to intervene.

In a tweet posted at 15:11 UTC, Rep. Crane criticized the judiciary by stating that "...and the activist judges are very clearly abusing this system to jam up President Trump for partisan purposes." He suggested that if the Supreme Court does not take action, Congress should step in due to its vested authority.

An hour later, at 16:11 UTC, he reaffirmed his support for the former president by tweeting "I stand with President Trump." He further stated that "The activist judges are out of control," underscoring his perception of judicial activism.

Subsequently, at 16:18 UTC, Rep. Crane tweeted about the impact of these judicial actions on public policy. He wrote that "Activist judges are trying to deny the American people of the agenda they voted for." He reiterated Congress's responsibility to address such issues to prevent power abuse by what he termed "overly empowered activist judges."
