The Sedona Police Department Cadets have showcased their skills and dedication by earning top placements in recent competitions. At the Chandler Tactical Competition in January, the Cadet team impressed with their performance, securing first place in the wilderness marksman event.

Reflecting on their success, an official from the Sedona Police Department highlighted the Cadets' commitment to excellence, stating, "We are incredibly proud of our Cadets for their achievements at the Chandler Tactical Competition. Their hard work and dedication have truly paid off."

In March, the Cadets participated in the Mesa Team Building Challenge, emphasizing collaboration and teamwork. The Cadets excelled once again, earning top three medals in seven out of eight events, showcasing their ability to work effectively as a team.

The Cadets program, a community-based policing initiative, aims to educate and engage young individuals in police operations while fostering an interest in law enforcement. Officer Mike Lucas of the Sedona Police Department encouraged those interested in joining the program to reach out, emphasizing the valuable experience and skills gained through participation.
