In an earlier release, Councilwoman Jessica Hall announced her resignation from Prescott City Council effective July 25, 2022. At their Voting Meeting on July 26 Prescott City Council voted to accept applications to fill the vacancy through November 2023. Applicants must have been a registered voter in the City of Prescott for at least one year prior to appointment. Applications will be reviewed in an Executive Session Meeting scheduled for Tuesday, August 16th at which time Council will select the candidates to be interviewed at Special Meeting on Tuesday, August 23rd. It is the intent of the City Council to have the selected candidate sworn in at the Tuesday, September 13th Voting Meeting.
