Yavapai County Community Health Services (YCCHS) led a “Bike to School Day” event.
Lots of kids and community members rode the Main Street bike lanes from Clarkdale Town Park to the Clarkdale-Jerome School (CJES). Thanks to Jen Mabery and her team and the Clarkdale Police Department for guiding the group and making it a safe and fun event for all. CJES is the first school to receive installation of an official ‘bike repair station’ courtesy of YCCHS who will be placing one at many schools in the Verde Valley.
Community members are welcome to stop by and try it out. Bike on!
