City of Peoria issued the following announcement on Aug. 11.
Somos Peoria, the Valley’s most celebrated Hispanic Heritage Month event, will take over Old Town Peoria at 83rd and Grand Avenues on Saturday, Sept. 25, 2021 from 2 – 10: 30 p.m. The multicultural festival will include national headlining entertainment by the renowned 70s funk and soul band, Tower of Power and Latin R&B band of the 80s, Tierra, as well as a variety of local entertainment.
