City of Sedona issued the following announcement on July 28.
This is a friendly reminder that there are four sandbag locations in town where residents can make their own sandbags and take them with them for free. All you need is a shovel!
Make sure and take only the bags you're filling with sand to leave enough bags for your neighbors.
The four locations are:
• Red Rock High School (995 Upper Red Rock Loop Road)
• City Maintenance Yard (2070 Contractors Road, by appointment only: please call 203-5063)
• Uptown Public Parking Lot (260 Schnebly Road)
• Sedona United Methodist Church (110 Indian Cliffs Road)
