Rural communities in Arizona are facing challenges, with the Paulden Food Bank in Yavapai County seeking more support. Senator Mark Finchem has called on the public to help, particularly through donations of DASH cryptocurrency. Finchem, who regularly appears on a national podcast about cryptocurrency policy and regulation, initiated a fundraising challenge after learning about the food bank’s situation.
Over the past two weeks, nearly $1,000 was raised as part of this effort. “I am excited to announce that the DASH cryptocurrency community and @Digitalgoldtalk, a national X podcast, have raised nearly $1,000 for the local community service organization,” said Senator Finchem. “Today, I had the pleasure of presenting a $1,000 cashier’s check to the Paulden Food Bank, just in time to assist families in need during the Thanksgiving holiday. However, we won’t stop here. We are expanding our donation efforts to accept all forms of contributions, including cash, food, cryptocurrency, checks, and more. We plan to deliver a similar check the day before Christmas Eve. If you wish to make your donation via DASH, please download the app and scan the QR code. Our goal is to provide significant relief to this impoverished rural community in LD1!”
Finchem encouraged those interested in contributing with cryptocurrency to use a provided account hash.
