Dr. Selina Bliss, a Republican and Arizona State House representative for the 1st District since 2023, has recently posted a series of updates on her official Twitter account regarding state economic rankings, wildfire mitigation efforts, and legislative initiatives.
On April 16, 2026, Bliss highlighted Arizona’s continued economic performance by stating, “Just released the annual report on Tax Day – glad to see we maintained our ranking in the top 10 (5th) since last year. Great to be recognized for our economic competitiveness and low taxes https://t.co/XPdB8k9H3k”.
Two days later, on April 18, she referenced her participation in a statewide discussion about wildfire preparedness: “This is important to LD1 and the State of Arizona! Bliss was elected to represent Arizona’s 1st House District after Judy Burges. Her work includes serving on committees focused on emergency preparedness as well as sponsoring healthcare-related bills during her tenure at the state legislature.
