Dr. Selina Bliss, a Republican elected to the Arizona State House in 2023 to represent the state’s 1st House District, shared updates on her recent activities and achievements through a series of posts on October 15, 2025.
In her first post, Bliss described a busy day, stating, “What a day! Spoke at the Mingus Mountain Republican Club, then dashed to the Capitol in time to hold a stakeholder meeting on midwifery legislation I will be sponsoring. As the weather cools down, we are heating up for the upcoming session at the Capitol! https://t.co/NgewmewoCC” (October 15, 2025).
Later that evening, Bliss called for support from her constituents in Yavapai County as she seeks to continue her service in the Arizona State House of Representatives. She wrote, “Looking for your support! If you live in Yavapai County, we are collecting signatures to get on the ballot to continue serving in the Arizona State House of Representatives. Click below to sign our petitions https://t.co/tzPqus6smz https://t.co/aAtuIAGrm4” (October 15, 2025).
In a subsequent post on the same day, Bliss announced a recent recognition she received: “A wonderful surprise when I arrived at the Capitol today – I found out I received the @ArizonaNurses Association 2025 Nursing Hero Award. Every once in a while, the difficult work we do at the legislature is noticed! https://t.co/GrSq4lsYDP” (October 15, 2025).
Bliss has served in the Arizona State House since 2023 after replacing former representative Judy Burges. She represents District 1 and is active in legislative initiatives and community engagement.
