Dr. Selina Bliss, a Republican elected to the Arizona State House in 2023 to represent the state’s 1st House District, recently posted a series of updates on her social media account regarding legislative oversight and local history.
On August 31, 2025, Bliss highlighted the ongoing responsibilities of state legislators in overseeing agencies, specifically referencing concerns about inmate deaths within the Arizona Department of Corrections. She wrote, “As State legislators, overseeing State agencies is one part of our year-round job.
