Dr. Selina Bliss, a Republican member of the Arizona State House representing District 1 since 2023, recently posted several updates on her social media account regarding legislative activities and her re-election campaign.

On January 25, 2026, Dr. Bliss commented on her commute within her district, stating: “Yeah, my drive was 20 minutes! Welcome to LD1! “

Later that day, she addressed proposed legislation concerning homicide laws and their implications for abortion rights. In her post dated January 25, 2026, Dr. Bliss wrote: “Let me be clear, my bill clarifies current homicide laws to protect unborn children House panel advances trio of GOP bills critics say threaten abortion rights https://t.co/8Jpt2aGsaB via @CourierNewsroom”

In another message posted on January 25, 2026, Dr. Bliss reached out to constituents in Yavapai County regarding her campaign efforts: “I need your help – if you live in Yavapai County, I am collecting signatures to get on the ballot for the primary election, to continue serving in the AZ State House. Click the link below to sign my petition (as well as see other candidates running for office) https://t.co/86GRLEA9we”

Dr. Bliss has served as a state representative since being elected in 2023 after replacing Judy Burges as the representative for Arizona’s 1st House District.
