Dr. Selina Bliss, a Republican member of the Arizona State House representing District 1, shared updates on legislative achievements and community events through a series of social media posts in mid-April 2026.
On April 14, Bliss announced the signing of her first sponsored bill into law, stating, “Grateful that of all the bills I sponsored this session, this is the first signed into law https://t.co/ThAYBlzYjZ”.
The following day, April 15, she highlighted an event at the Arizona State Capitol involving Embry-Riddle Aeronautical University. Bliss wrote, “An Arizona Gem right here in LD1! Glad to host the leadership team from Embry-Riddle Aeronautical University at the Arizona State Capitol, as they celebrate their 100th anniversary of bringing aviation science and aerospace to the world! https://t.co/GD1c0DTsFG”.
Later that same day, Bliss commented on her participation in a professional summit: “An honor to be the plenary speaker and welcome attendees to the 2026 NurseTrust Summit in Phoenix, championing nurse leadership and advocacy in action! https://t.co/Kkp5tdn3GM”.
Bliss was elected to her seat in 2023 after succeeding Judy Burges as representative for Arizona’s 1st House District. She has since engaged with local institutions and professional organizations as part of her legislative activities.
