Dr. Selina Bliss, a Republican elected to the Arizona State House in 2023 representing the state’s 1st House District, recently shared updates on her professional engagements and legislative activities through a series of posts on X (formerly Twitter).
On January 22, 2026, Dr. Bliss highlighted her participation in an event at the state capitol, stating, “What a treat! During the lunch break today, took some time to visit with the AZ Association of Nurse Anesthesiology. Today was Certified Registered Nurse Anesthesiologists (CRNAs) Day at the Capitol. Making a difference in healthcare!”
Later that same day, she posted about attending an annual legislative reception: “With all five county supervisors, a strong showing from LD1 tonight at the 2026 Annual Legislative Reception honoring the State & County Partnerships with the County Supervisor Association of Arizona. @csaofaz @yavapaicounty”
Two days later, on January 24, Dr. Bliss reflected on her background as a nurse and her ongoing commitment to public health: “As a nurse, I have administered hundreds of pints of blood to save lives in the emergency department and ICU. What a treat to support saving lives through my work at the Arizona State Capitol!”
Dr. Bliss began serving in the Arizona State House after being elected in 2023 for District 1, succeeding Judy Burges.
