Dr. Selina Bliss, a Republican member of the Arizona State House representing the 1st District, shared updates on her participation in a Habitat for Humanity event and legislative efforts related to housing in a series of posts on January 24 and 25, 2026.

On January 24, Bliss expressed appreciation for being involved in a volunteer event, stating, “Thank you for letting us join in today. I really love the feel of using powertools!”.

Later that day, she elaborated on her experience at the Habitat for Humanity Red & Blue Build site and highlighted her support for affordable homeownership and volunteerism. On January 25, Bliss referenced legislation she is sponsoring by posting, “Both bills proudly sponsored by LD1 “.

Bliss was elected to the Arizona State House in 2023 to represent District 1 after succeeding Judy Burges. Her recent activities reflect ongoing engagement with community initiatives and legislative measures focused on housing issues.
