Dr. Selina Bliss, a Republican elected to the Arizona State House in 2023 representing the state’s 1st House District, shared a series of posts on social media highlighting her recent activities and local developments.

On November 15, 2025, Bliss posted about her participation in an event supporting broadband expansion in Yavapai County: “The days of the Pony Express are over! I was honored to be a featured speaker at the Wecom Fiber Prescott Kickoff today. Big thanks to the Prescott Chamber and Matt’s Saloon for hosting us. Excited to see broadband infrastructure growing here in Yavapai County!”

The following day, she described her engagement with constituents at a local political meeting: “A full day at the Quarterly Yavapai County Republican Precinct Committee meeting today. It’s always great to get on stage to give legislative updates with my seatmate, @QuangNguyenAZ , and to connect with constituents! Grateful for these opportunities to listen, share, and work” (November 16, 2025).

Also on November 16, Bliss shared historical images related to Arizona’s legislative buildings: “Throwback to 1960! Check out these timeless photos of the Arizona State House front lobby and the iconic ‘tunnel’ linking the House and Senate buildings. It’s amazing to see how these buildings at the State Capitol have stayed the same over the years, unchanged from where we work”.

Bliss began serving in her current role after being elected in 2023, succeeding Judy Burges as state representative for Arizona’s 1st House District.
