Dr. Selina Bliss, a Republican member of the Arizona State House representing the 1st House District, recently highlighted legislative and community initiatives in a series of posts on social media.

On March 21, 2026, Bliss acknowledged efforts to raise awareness about amyotrophic lateral sclerosis (ALS), also known as Lou Gehrig’s Disease. She wrote: “With @ALSAZ raising awareness of the challenges of amyotrophic lateral sclerosis (ALS), also known as Lou Gehrig’s Disease, by sponsoring HB2433 (medicare supplement insurance; ALS; ESRD) and the proclamation on the House Floor proclaiming March 19th as ALS Awareness Day in https://t.co/ksWXJ4GoFG”.

Later that day, she posted about an event at the Arizona Capitol recognizing National Health Workforce Well-Being Day. In her post dated March 21, 2026, Bliss stated: “March 18th was the National Health Workforce Well-Being Day. We made it real at the Arizona Capitol by introducing local leadership from The Wellbeing Collaborative, as they make a critical impact on the workforce shortage and practice demands by addressing the health and https://t.co/52AhRrFpDl”.

On March 22, 2026, Bliss expressed appreciation for a recent debate opportunity with local political organizations. She said: “A shout-out to the @Yavapai_Gop for this opportunity to debate our opponent. Bliss was elected to office in 2023 after replacing former state representative Judy Burges. As a legislator for Arizona’s 1st House District, she has participated in advocacy related to public health issues and political engagement within her district.
