The U.S. Small Business Administration (SBA) has reminded businesses, nonprofit organizations, residents, and tribal nations affected by severe flooding in Gila County that the deadline to return physical damage applications for federal disaster loans is today.
On October 10, 2025, the SBA announced that low-interest federal disaster loans are available to eligible applicants who experienced economic losses from the flooding. The agency is offering Business Physical Disaster Loans, Home and Personal Property Loans, and Economic Injury Disaster Loans. As of today, $4,111,600 in disaster loans have been approved for impacted residents and businesses.
The disaster declaration covers several Arizona counties: Coconino, Gila, Graham, Maricopa, Navajo, Pinal, and Yavapai.
Applications for SBA loans can be submitted online through the SBA website or by contacting the Customer Service Center at (800) 659-2955 or via email at disastercustomerservice@sba.gov. While today is the final day to submit physical damage applications, those seeking economic injury assistance have until July 10, 2026.
SBA customer service representatives are available at the Globe-Miami Chamber of Commerce at 1360 N. Bored St., Globe, AZ 85501. Assistance is offered Monday through Friday from 8:30 a.m. to 5:00 p.m. MST for help with applications or questions about the process. Appointments can be scheduled in advance online.
Additional information on loan types and eligibility can be found in the SBA’s official press release.
