The U.S. Small Business Administration (SBA) has announced that it will hold meetings in Coconino County to support Arizonans impacted by recent wildfires. The SBA is offering low-interest federal disaster loans to businesses, nonprofit organizations, and tribal nations that suffered economic losses due to the Dragon Bravo and White Sage fires.
Following a disaster declaration, the SBA’s Economic Injury Disaster Loan (EIDL) program is now available to eligible businesses in the affected areas. These loans have a 30-year term with a 4% interest rate and are intended to cover working capital needs and operating expenses that could have been paid if the disasters had not occurred.
For more information or to apply for these loans, individuals can visit the SBA website, call their Customer Service Center at (800) 659-2955, or email disastercustomerservice@sba.gov.
U.S. Representative Eli Crane, who has been serving Arizona’s 2nd district since replacing Tom O’Halleran in 2023, is connected with this initiative. Crane was born in Tucson in 1980 and currently resides in Oro Valley.
