The U.S. Small Business Administration (SBA) has announced that low-interest federal disaster loans are now available to businesses, nonprofit organizations, residents, and tribal nations in Gila County affected by severe flooding.
SBA customer service representatives are currently stationed at the Globe-Miami Chamber of Commerce at 1360 N. Bored St., Globe, AZ 85501. They are available from Monday through Friday between 8:30 a.m. and 5:00 p.m. MST to assist with loan applications or answer questions. Appointments for in-person meetings can be scheduled in advance.
The SBA is providing several types of disaster loans through this initiative, including Business Physical Disaster Loans, Home and Personal Property Loans, and Economic Injury Disaster Loans. In addition to Gila County, eligible counties include Coconino, Graham, Maricopa, Navajo, Pinal, and Yavapai.
Applications for these loans can be submitted online or by contacting the SBA’s Customer Service Center at (800) 659-2955 or emailing disastercustomerservice@sba.gov. The deadline for submitting physical damage loan applications is December 9, 2025. The deadline for economic injury loan applications is July 10, 2026.
