The U.S. Small Business Administration (SBA) has announced the availability of low-interest federal disaster loans for businesses, nonprofit organizations, residents, and tribal nations affected by severe flooding in Gila County, Arizona. This relief effort includes Business Physical Disaster Loans, Home and Personal Property Loans, and Economic Injury Disaster Loans. The counties covered are Coconino, Gila, Graham, Maricopa, Navajo, Pinal, and Yavapai.
Starting today, SBA customer service representatives will be available at the Globe-Miami Chamber of Commerce in Globe, Arizona. They will assist applicants from Monday to Friday between 9:00 a.m. and 4:00 p.m. MST. Appointments can be scheduled online or by contacting the SBA’s Customer Service Center at (800) 659-2955 or via email at disastercustomerservice@sba.gov.
The deadline for physical damage applications is December 9, 2025, while economic injury applications must be submitted by July 10, 2026.
For businesses and nonprofits seeking Business Physical Disaster Loans, up to $2 million is available to repair or replace damaged assets. Homeowners can apply for up to $500,000 to repair their primary residence and up to $100,000 for personal property like clothing and furniture.
Economic Injury Disaster Loans (EIDLs) are offered to small businesses and private nonprofit organizations impacted financially by the floods. These loans address working capital needs such as fixed debts and payroll.
