Last week, the U.S. Small Business Administration (SBA) announced that low-interest federal disaster loans are now available for businesses, nonprofit organizations, and tribal nations affected by the Dragon Bravo and White Sage fires in Coconino County. The SBA has planned several in-person mobile services in the county to help applicants with the loan process.
The Economic Injury Disaster Loan (EIDL) program is open to eligible businesses in the affected areas. These loans have a 30-year term at a 4% interest rate and are intended to support working capital needs and operating expenses that could have been covered if not for the disasters.
For more information or to apply, individuals can visit the SBA website, call SBA’s Customer Service Center at (800) 659-2955, or email disastercustomerservice@sba.gov.
