The U.S. Small Business Administration (SBA) has announced that low-interest federal disaster loans are now available to businesses, nonprofit organizations, and tribal nations affected by the Dragon Bravo and White Sage fires. The disaster declaration, issued on August 13, includes Coconino, Gila, Mohave, Navajo, and Yavapai Counties.

The SBA’s Economic Injury Disaster Loan (EIDL) program is open to eligible businesses in these areas. The loans aim to help cover working capital needs and operating expenses that could have been paid if not for the disasters.

For those seeking more information or wishing to apply, resources are available through the SBA’s Customer Service Center at (800) 659-2955 or via email at disastercustomerservice@sba.gov.

Eli Crane currently represents Arizona’s 2nd congressional district in the U.S. Congress. He began serving in this role in 2023 after succeeding Tom O’Halleran. Crane was born in Tucson in 1980 and resides in Oro Valley.
