Alan Gottlieb, founder of SAF, commended Nguyen for his commitment to gun rights. “I have rarely encountered a public servant as principled and tireless as Representative Quang Nguyen of Arizona,” Gottlieb said. He emphasized Nguyen’s proactive role in shaping debates and maintaining freedoms.

Nguyen expressed gratitude for the honor, stating, “It is an incredible honor to be recognized by the Second Amendment Foundation as Legislator of the Year.” He affirmed his commitment to protecting constitutional rights and acknowledged support from colleagues like Arizona House Speaker Steve Montenegro and Representative Nick Kupper.
