Rep. Eli Crane, a member of the U.S. Congress representing Arizona’s 2nd district, announced his intention to vote “yes” on an unspecified measure in a series of posts on January 14, 2026.

In his first message at 13:47 UTC, Crane stated, “I’ll be voting YES.” Later that day at 14:24 UTC, he informed followers about an upcoming House floor vote and encouraged public participation: “There will be a vote on the House floor TODAY to do just that. Urge your representative to vote YES.” In a subsequent post at 14:38 UTC, Crane added, “Crazy idea: let’s do what we promised.”

Crane has represented Arizona’s 2nd District in Congress since 2023 after succeeding Tom O’Halleran. He was born in Tucson in 1980 and currently resides in Oro Valley.
